BarcaFeed Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of BarcaFeed.com. By accessing or using BarcaFeed, you agree to these terms.

BarcaFeed is an independent news discovery and aggregation service. It identifies relevant FC Barcelona reporting, displays source-attributed headlines and related publication information, and directs readers to the original publisher. BarcaFeed is not a newspaper, newsroom or the original publisher of the third-party articles to which it links.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the service.

Articles linked from BarcaFeed are created and published by independent third parties. BarcaFeed does not author, control or endorse every statement contained in those articles and does not guarantee that third-party reporting is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose.

BarcaFeed may display a publisher’s name, headline, publication time and link for the purpose of identifying and directing users to the relevant reporting. BarcaFeed does not claim ownership of third-party material. Where headlines, editorial material, photographs, logos, trademarks or other content are protected by intellectual-property rights, those rights remain with their respective owners.

BarcaFeed does not reproduce the full text of publisher articles as part of its public news feed.

BarcaFeed displays English-language headlines supplied by selected publishers after basic technical formatting. The original publisher article remains the primary source for the reporting.

Latest, Top and Popular are automated discovery and ranking features. Placement in any feed does not represent an editorial endorsement, confirmation that a report is true, or a judgment about the importance or reliability of the underlying claim.

Publication times, source metadata and other automatically collected information may also occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.

BarcaFeed respects the intellectual-property rights of publishers and other rights holders. References to publishers, football clubs, competitions, players, organisations and brands are used for identification and news-discovery purposes.

FC Barcelona, Barça and related club names, crests and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. BarcaFeed is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or operated by FC Barcelona. The same applies to LaLiga, UEFA, FIFA, other football clubs, leagues, federations, publishers and persons unless a relationship is expressly stated.

The BarcaFeed name, BarcaFeed branding, original interface design, software, databases, site structure and original material created specifically for BarcaFeed are owned by or licensed to the operator and may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law.

BarcaFeed contains links to websites controlled by third parties. These links are provided to direct readers to the original source of reporting.

BarcaFeed is not responsible for the availability, security, content, advertising, products, services, privacy practices or terms of external websites. The presence of a link does not mean BarcaFeed endorses every statement, opinion, product or service appearing on the destination website.

Once you leave BarcaFeed, your use of the destination website is governed by that third party’s own policies and terms.

You may use BarcaFeed for lawful news discovery and normal personal use. You must not use the service in a manner that damages, disables, overloads or interferes with BarcaFeed or other users.

Without prior permission, you must not attempt to bypass access controls or security measures, introduce malicious code, impersonate the service or its operator, manipulate rankings or click counts, make abusive automated requests, or systematically extract BarcaFeed data in a manner that materially interferes with the service or violates applicable law.

Legitimate search-engine crawling and other automated access expressly permitted by BarcaFeed’s published technical rules, such as applicable robots.txt directives, are not prohibited by this section.

BarcaFeed may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, infrastructure or legal rights.

BarcaFeed may add, remove, suspend or change publishers, articles, rankings, features, interfaces or other parts of the service at any time.

Publisher feeds and websites can fail, change format or remove articles without notice. BarcaFeed therefore does not guarantee that every relevant FC Barcelona article will appear, that every source will remain available, or that the service will operate continuously without interruptions or errors.

BarcaFeed may suspend all or part of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance or product changes.

BarcaFeed is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BarcaFeed makes no warranty regarding uninterrupted availability, completeness of coverage, third-party reporting, rankings, external links or the accuracy of information supplied by publishers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BarcaFeed and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from reliance on third-party reporting, decisions made on the basis of linked content, unavailable or changed publisher content, external websites, service interruptions or unauthorised third-party activity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, or affects mandatory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

If you are a publisher, rights holder or authorised representative and believe that material displayed by BarcaFeed is incorrectly attributed, infringes your rights or should no longer appear in the service, contact hello@barcafeed.com.

Please include enough information for us to identify and assess the request, including the relevant BarcaFeed or publisher URL, the material concerned, the basis of your request, your contact details and, where relevant, confirmation that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.

BarcaFeed may correct attribution, update a link, restrict or remove an item while a request is reviewed. Taking such action does not constitute an admission of liability or infringement.
